Indore Group touches new milestone, lays foundation stone to expand the Tangier, Morocco FRP Rod Capacity.

Tangier, Morocco - October 29, 2021 - Indore Composite Pvt. Ltd, the leading supplier of cable protection solutions for Fibre Optic and Power Cables, laid the foundation stone for their new plant in Tangier free zone, to meet the growing demands for FTTH & 5G, aiming to establish a much closer relationship with their customers.

The new plant covering 20,000 sq. meter area, will double the production capacity of the company in the region and make it capable of servicing/launching new product ranges.

With this new expansion, scheduled to be completed by Q3 2022, Indore will become the leading producer of FRP Rods in the world, with an annual production capacity of 8 million Kilometres. The highly automated and ultra-high speed technology used in this expansion will be the first of its kind in the world)

Generating employment for about 400 people, this new facility will play a major role in developing an ecosystem for Optical Fibre cables and advanced composites for the wind energy in this region. With its own dedicated R&D centre, the new facility will be able to focus on new age reinforcement solutions.
