Water Swellable Yarn

Indore's water swellable yarn is widely popular for semi dry and dry fiber optic cables, instrumentation cables and power cables (medium and high voltage) by manufacturers all over the world.

When the yarn comes in contact with water, it swells and fills the gap between the components of the cable, preventing the spread of water. These are made using polyester yarns and coated with liquid SAP to impart its unique swelling property.
